Uni-Directional Pipe Prover (Valveless, 3-Sphere Type)
A positive displacement type prover with flow and displacer travelling always in one direction to actuate detectors in the calibrated section of the pipe, by means of a transfer chamber. The measured volume corresponds to one passage of the displacer.
Applications include usage in the refining, crude oil on-site, gas, and all pipeline and petrochemical industries. The unidirectional systems are particularly suitable for multiple product settings and can be insulated for the required duty and ambient conditions.

SV Compact Prover
Compact dual-tube design for space saving, minimizing tube material pressure correction while achieving excellent temperature stabilization. State-of-the-art electronics for precise time measurement, pulse counting, and smaller prover volume for highly accurate and efficient meter proving.
Bi-Directional Pipe Prover
The most essential feature of any flowmeter is the maintenance of consistent accuracy throughout its useful life. In order to achieve this objective, flowmeter testing is indispensable. Mandatory periodic inspections are also often required by law. Backed by OAP’s technical know-how and experience with many years in designing and building dynamic flow measurement and control systems, we have mastered the technique of manufacturing a variety of large and small flowmeter calibration systems. We pride ourselves on our specialisation and expertise in delivery high quality Bi-Directional Pipe Prover around the world.
The Bi-Directional Pipe Prover is a positive displacement type prover with flow and displacer travelling in both directions by means of a 4-way diverter valve.
The main body of the Bi-Directional Prover is constructed of pipe, and is compactly folded to make it more readily mobile and suitable for skid mounting.
It is one of the most reliable methods to verify meter readings and establish meter factors, and is the most recommended and used Prover design in the world today.

Since delivering our first 2 FPSO metering & proving systems for Rang Dong and Ruby FPSOs in Vietnam in the late 1990s. Oval Asia Pacific Pte Ltd continues to build systems that meets stringent technical standards and compliance on design and fabrication to the satisfaction of all involved, notwithstanding tight delivery schedules.
We have now secured, designed, build and delivered almost 20 systems to FPSOs and FSOs around the world, including to Petrobras/Brazil, Abu Cluster/Saudi Arabia, Federal/China, Vietnam and Azurite, Congo over the years.
Some of the highly noted achievements were:
- Metering Skids, Metering Control System, Meters and Flow Computers worth a total US$5.8million supplied to MODEC International LLC for Petrobras RJS-409 and Petrobas PRA-1 FSO, each capable of receiving up to 630,000 barrels of oil per day and having a storage capacity of 2,200,000 barrels in 2006.
- FSPSO Azurite which was the first FPSO developed with a mobile drilling rig commissioned by Murphy West Africa, a division of Murphy Oil Corporation for deepwater development offshore from the Republic of the Congo in 2009.
- SBM Offshore Ruby FOSO consisting of Crude Oil Metering Skids and Bi-Directional Prover with a capacity of 3,200 M3/hr Metering Control System, Meters and Flow Computers that was delivered to Vietnam in 2009.

Metering & Proving Computer System Upgrading Project
Oval Asia Pacific Pte Ltd supplied 33 sets of Omni 6000 for 65 metering streams integrated to DCS for metering control and proving system for entire oil movement facility. The system provided full integration of data requirements from OMNI flow computer to DCS to carry out all control functions:

- Supervisory Report Generation (including active alarms for temperature, flow, pulse failures, common alarms and downloaded density)
